My practice uses nature as a pretext for exploring vision. Rather than depicting the natural world as an external space, I approach it as a field of perception, as a place where looking, naming, preserving, and mythologising converge.
Ultimately, my work considers how we encounter the living world through systems of representation, and how those systems shape not only how we see but how we perceive. The cultivated landscape, like painting itself, reveals a continuous dialogue between memory, perception, and the poetic potential of space. It is framed, edited, and suspended between permanence and change.
