Painted from life osberving horses in the Castle Area Collecting Ring, Royal Windsor Horse Show.
When making this painting I wanted to explore the forms and shape of the horses. I was particuarly interested in the pinks and blues of the highlights that trace across the body like the horizon in a landscape.
